Hello friends, my name is Valentina and I arrived at SMRS just before Valentine's Day. I am a beautiful girl who was found as a stray and my owner never came for me. Lucky for me SMRS had a foster home available. I have received all my health care, including the treatment to rid me of those terrible Heart worms. My previous owner didn't love me enough to give me the monthly prevention that would have protected me. I am now a healthy happy girl who is ready to begin the search for my forever home.
I love the two fellow Boston Terrier boys in my foster home and I play, play, play with them, but I am always happy to settle in for a snuggle with my people. I have no interest in toys, playing fetch or chasing a ball, but I can spend the day chewing on an Antler or my favorite Himalyan Dog Chew's. I am house trained and crate trained, but I do not like my crate one bit and I will potty in my crate to make sure you know how much I protest. I will require a home with a secure fenced yard as I will roam and I will bolt out any open door so I must request a home who will be sure keep me safe. I do not live with children, but I seem to enjoy meeting the dog respectful children who visit. I am learning my first trick which is to sit on command and my foster mom says if I was a person she is sure I would be a ballerina because I will perform the perfect ballerina twirl as I wait for my food bowl.
