Are you a puppy lover? Hi and hello, my name is Sampson. I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and I found myself behind bars, my owner never came to bail me out, but SMRS came a running to take me on my freedom ride. I have received all my doggie health care including a surgery to fix the cherry eye I had. I will need to have daily eye drops administered to my left eye, but don't worry the drops are inexpensive and easy to give. I am currently on a special diet, SO by Royal Canin that is helping to control the minerals in my urinary system which prevents the formation of crystals.
I am house trained and I do well with a midday potty break. I am crate trained, but I do protest by being vocal, but I will quiet down after a bit. I am all puppy so I would be best suited for an active home rather than apartment life. I love all the dogs in my foster home and I am a submissive pack member who can fit in anywhere. My days are spent playing fetch, chewing nylabones and playing with fur friends. My foster home does not have children, but I love to greet them during my daily walks. My playful puppy nature would indicate I would be best matched with kids who are a bit older, say over the age of 8 yrs old. My foster home does not have cats, but I have seen them on my daily walks and I have no aggression towards them. I will require a home with a secure fenced yard and I dream of a home which includes a playful fur friend or two as well as someone that is willing to guide me through my mischievous puppy stage.
I bet you are ready to add a loving, playful puppy to your home....if so, fill out my adoption application because I am ready to come home!
